Des Moines School Superintendent Nancy Sebring's withdrawn her bid for the superintendent's job in Boulder, Colorado. She says there';s more work she wants to get done in Des Moines. Sebring says she didn't accept a raise to stay; but she could still get one when the board of education approves her new contract later this month. Sebring was paid $240,000 this year, which includes a base salary of $206,178 and an annuity worth 16.5% of her salary.
