New red light and speeding cameras are in place at several Des Moines intersections. KCCI reports the camera's are ready to go at East 15th and Maple, 19th and University, MLK Jr. Parkway and School, 9th and Grand, and Southeast 5th and Army Post Road. When the cameras are turned on, KCCI reports a 30-day grace period's expected to start where getting caught will mean a warning. after that, a $65 fine for running a red light, and a minimum $65 fine for speeding.
