The president-elect of the Iowa Association of School Boards is no longer president-elect. Lee Ann Grimley was voted out of the group by members of the groups board of directors, of which she's a member. Why was Grimley kicked out yesterday? Board President Russ Wiesley tells the Des Moines Register: "We're not ready to discuss that yet." In a later written statement he says Grimley couldn't provide the leadership the association needs.
