A Polk County Judge's sentenced Wendy Runge to 10-years in prison for her part in the Iowa Film Office tax incentive scandal. Runge was sentenced for fraud this morning, and told the judge she was sorry for what she'd done. But Judge Douglas Staskal criticized Runge for public statements she made in which she took no responsibility for her actions and attacked judges, and prosecutors, and tried to blame her troubles on some kind of political conspiracy.
