Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty spoke yesterday to a group of about 60 in Wakee. He will visit Boone and Fort Dodge this afternoon, stop in Sioux City Tuesday and Council Bluffs on Wednesday. The Register reports another Republican presidential hopeful, former Louisiana Gov. Buddy Roemer, spoke at the event. Roemer laid out a detailed plan to create American jobs by overhauling the nation’s trade, energy and tax policies.
