Police cracked down on speeding this week, with Highway 235 the focus Tuesday. At least 154 tickets were written for citations, 105 of which were for speeding. Several law enforcement agencies were involved, and as more of them turn in their tickets those numbers could rise. The Central Iowa Traffic Safety Task Force organized the crackdown, and has plans for more days like it later this year.
