Urbandale Police are still investigating a shooting that took place on Thursday night in an area west of Merle Hay Mall. 21 year old Mario Herrera-Rodriguez drove himself to the hoslpidal after being shot in the shoulder. Police wouldn't release any other information about him, but they did say he was shot outside by his car, and that several shots were fired. He is in stable condition. Police do not think this was just a random act but are still investigating the details.
