Governor Terry Branstad has chosen three finalist for the Iowa Supreme Court. They are District Judge Bruce Zager of Waterloo, attorney Thomas Waterman of Pleasant Valley, and Court of Appeals Judge Edward Mansfield of Des Moines. Branstad had until Saturday to make his decision. He took 27 of the allotted 30 days to choose the finalists. The new judges have thirty days now to take their seats on the bench, and they'll come up for a retention vote in November 2012.
