There's a bill in the legislature that'd allow those over 21 to legally play online poker. KCCI reports players would have to set up cash accounts at state-regulated casinos and log on to virtual tables for poker at password-protected websites. Lobbyists for gaming interests like the bill, saying the state's losing a lot of taxable revenue to online gaming operations overseas. Internet gambling's illegal in the US, but individual states cam legalize and oversee it if the gambling's only inside that state.
