The Child Support Advisory Committee is taking ideas for changes to the guidelines judges must follow when they determine child support payments. Some say mothers should get more money if the father gets a pay raise. Or a father should pay less if he loses his job. The Iowa Supreme Court will look over the ideas and decide whether to update the guidelines.
