Another Same Sex Marriage Bill

Some conservative republican's in the state house have introduced a bill barring County Recorders from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples, and blocking the Iowa Supreme Court from ruling on it. the Des Moines Register reports that under the bill, Iowa families could appeal a recorder’s decision in trial courts but those decisions couldn't be appealed to the Iowa Supreme Court, creating the possibility that there'd be parts of Iowa where the law's recognized and others were it wouldn't.
