Authorities believe a missing teen who was the subject of an Amber Alert made up the story to spend time with her boyfriend. The Amber Alert was issued Saturday for 17-year old Betsy Luna of Essex. She was found safe later that night at her 19-year-old boyfriend’s home in Red Oak after telling her family she had been abducted. Both were taken in for questioning. Charges are pending.
