34-year old Alex Dyer was arrested last week by Carlisle police on charges of having sex with a minor. He's a band teacher who had been on adminstrative leave since, and the Carlisle Community School Board accepted his resignation Monday night. Documents on file at the Warren County Courthouse say that he admitted to police that he had sexual relations with a 17-year-old female student at the school. Dyer has taught for a decade, the past three years at Carlisle.
