Alex Dyer's resigned as a band teacher for the Carlisle Community School District. Carlisle Police arrested the 34-year old earlier this month on charge of sexual exploitation by a school employee and lascivious conduct with a minor. The Des Moines Register reports Dyer admitted to having sexual relations with a 17-year old female student. Dyer had been on administrative leave until quitting last night.
