Some good news, at least temporarily, for those concerned about state funds for preschools. Senate revisions to a bill to save preschool, smoking cessation programs and other services was approved by the House yesterday. The bill now goes to Governor Terry Branstad for a signature, but lawmakers expect these issues to come up again in other bills, and this may be only a temporary reprieve.
