Borders Group's filed for Chapter 11, and will be shutting down 200 or 30% of its stores nationwide in the next few weeks. KCCI reports the 40-year old book and music seller has 4 stores in Iowa, including West Des Moines, and Ames. None of the Iowa locations are on the list of those shutting down. Big-box bookstores have struggled as more people buy their books online, in electronic form or at grocery stores or discounters like Walmart.
