Branstad Getting State Pension on top of Salary

A state democratic party spokesperson says Gov. Branstad's a hypocrite, calling for state worker layoffs and wanting to roll back pay raises to cope with the state's budget problems; while collecting a state pension on top of his $130-grand/year governor's salary. KCCI reports Branstad's state pension tops $50K/year for 26-years as a lawmakers, lt. gov. and governor. A spokesperson for Branstad says he's earned the pension income.
