Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is back in Iowa for two days of events beginning today. Pawlenty has formed a presidential exploratory committee, and since he's relatively unknown nationally his showing in Iowa's leadoff caucuses could prove important. He's in Ames today and then will speak at the Westside Conservative Breakfast Club tomorrow in Urbandale. He'll also tour the Pioneer Hi-Bred Research Center in Johnston.
