Red Light Cameras Nab 1000+ in Five Weeks

Des Moines police say more than one thousand drivers got caught red handed, proceeding through red lights in just five weeks with cameras at five different intersections. More than half of those were at the intersection of East 15th and Maple Streets and where Army Post Road meets Southeast Fifth Street. Warnings were issued to the drivers caught between June 27 and July 3rd. After that, the offenders should have received 65 dollar tickets in the mail.
