Branstad Thinks Bureaucrats Went Too Far With Lead Shot Ban for Dove Hunting

Gov. Branstad says the Natural Resources Commission overstepped their authority when they tried to ban lead shot from being used by dove hunters. He called it another example of state bureaucrats abusing their power. KCCI reports environmentalists say lead shot can be deadly to other animals who eat the pellets. The governor says that's a decision that should be left to the legislature, which has delayed the commission action.
