A 23 year old from Corwith talked her nervous brother into coming onto the bungee bench ride, at the Iowa State Fair yesterday. They got more of a ride than they bargained for. Jenny Studer says she saw something fly off the ride and then, they were stuck. It was two and a half hours before firefighters lowered them to safety. They had to use a 158 foot long crane boom. 17 year old Derek Studer will likely not be talked on to a ride by his sister again. They were sunburnt and shaken, but otherwise unharmed, once they got their feet on the ground again.
