ICE could be coming to Des Moines. Its not the kind you skate on either. Its Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Des Moines Business Record is reporting that the city's planning and zoning commission will hear two requests for processing centers. One would put a center at the Airport Commerce Park West. The other would put facilities in a converted building at 315 S.W. 14th St. So far, ICE has been turned down by residents for facilities and has had to scrap the plans.
