Five Busted in Teen Crime Spree

Five teens have had their crime spree interrupted with arrests. Knoxville police said that the 16 and 17 year olds were stealing cars and stealing from homes. It started on July first, and the five apparently stole about six thousand dollars worth of items. Police recovered the stolen stuff as they investigated the case. It was an observant citizen in Knoxville who called police in the overnight hours of August seventh and eighth, after seeing teens wearing masks messing around some cars. All five are boys and one of the 17 year olds faces nearly a dozen counts. Their cases are all in juvenile court.
