A nine year old boy, who was a member of the Waterhawks Ski Team died in a water skiing accident yesterday. Police said it happened on Eagle Lake in Evansdale, just after noon. Police said that three people fell into the water and the boy was hit by a boat as the three waited for their boat to pick them up. The boat's driver said he thought the three swam to shore, and so didn't see them in the water. Police said the boy was hurt in the incident and died at a Waterloo hospital.
