No charges have been filed, but Des Moines police are investigating a road rage incident involving three men and an off-duty Polk County sheriff's deputy. The police report says Deputy Shawn Vanhoozer was driving on I-235 with his wife and infant daughter when a pickup truck cut him off. The report goes on to say that Vanhoozer pulled off the interstate and two men jumped from the truck and began to fight with him. The driver of that vehicle claims in the police report that Vanhoozer started the fight. Police said the deputy suffered minor facial injuries during the confrontation as did Lewis Losa, one of the passengers in the pickup truck.
