Des Moines police have their man in a July robbery. Police said they arrested 38 year old Billie Joe Byrd on several charges for allegedly stealing from Central City Liquor on Second Avenue and he's in the Polk County Jail on 27 thousand dollars bond. Police said on July 9, two men went into the store and were confronted by employees. They fled with a bottle of rum worth 18 dollars. Surveillance video helped nab Byrd, but the other suspect has not been found.
