Sholom Rubashkin's lawyer is promising a U.S. Supreme Court appeal of today's Appeals court decision denying his client a new trial. Rubashkin, an ex-manager at Agriprocessors, was convicted in 2009 and sentenced to 27 years in prison. His was busted after an immigration raid at the company's Postville plant. Rubashkin claims the judge in his case couldn't be impartial since were involved in planning that raid. The appeals court didn't agree.
