Repairs to Flood Damaged Highways Could Go Into Next Year

Missouri River flooding's caused more damage to Iowa roads than any event in the state's history. The Des Moines Register reports some parts of I-29 could be back open in the next few weeks, especially in the Council Bluffs area, but some other parts of the highway aren't expected to see traffic before the end of the year. For I-680, things could be more complicated, with IDOT saying repairs may not be completed until late next year.
