After employees protested outside two daycare canters because they hadn't been paid, the owner of The Imagination and Education Station says she's shutting down her Urbandale center. Theresa Mulhern says she's keeping her West Des Moines location open. The Des Moines Register reports employees who continued to work have gotten paychecks, those who protested haven't, because Mulhern says they've been fired for unspecified company handbook violations.
