Remember hearing about Hawkeye the loyal lab who lay by his master's casket during Petty Officer Jon Tumilson of Rockford's funeral? Now, one of Tumilson's friends has adopted Hawkeye. The friend who kept the dog as Tumilson was deployed, and now Hawkeye will live at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Tumilson was one of 30 soldiers killed on August 6 when their helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan.
