Polk County Jail Gets Body Cameras

Security's changed at the Polk County Jail. 20-utility response officers are now wearing body cameras when they're on duty, so prison officials are getting a lot closer to the inmates and the things that happen in the facility. The officers bring their new birds eye view when they respond to fights, medical emergencies and investigate aggravated inmates KCCI reports each body cam and computer cost more than $3,000. The jail bought 17 last month.
