More people are going back to school, and DMACC's got the numbers to prove it. Enrollment at Des Moines Area Community College is up 3% this year from last fall, and since 2000, enrollment's up 135%. In 2000, college enrollment was almost 11,000. Today it's over 25,000, and new record. DMACC has campuses in Ankeny, Boone, Carroll, Newton, Des Moines and West Des Moines. DMACC also has education centers on the south side of Des Moines, Perry and Ames.
