More Iowans Getting Food Help

Lots of people in Iowa are hungry, and the state confirms that, saying nearly 400 thousand Iowans got some kind of food assistance last month. All over the state, more and more people are heading to food banks or getting food stamps to make groceries. In Cedar Rapids, Linn Community Food Bank reports that it served almost 30 percent more families so far this year over last year. Reports indicate that more people in Iowa are getting food help than those on a national level.
