Luttrell Family Mad About "Ticket"

Remember when Frank Luttrell was killed as he kept kids safe crossing the street to go to school in Ankney? Now his family wants those who run red lights that kill people to suffer stronger penalties. The man who ran a red light, killing Luttrell was issued a citation for running the light. The 78 year old Luttrell was killed about two weeks ago when he was hit by a pick up truck at the intersection where he was acting as a crossing guard. Laurin Cole said he ran the light because the sun was in his eyes. Cole was not charged in Luttrell's death. Luttrell said Cole was not impaired in anyway, and should have been charged with more than the traffic violation. A family spokeswoman said Luttrell's family may sure Cole in civil court.
