A student at Des Moines' North High School was removed from the school lunch room by police yesterday, after authorities say he assaulted another student. The Des Moines Register reports 18-year old Brandon Reyes-Ordaz punched a 14-year old. Police say each of the students involved is a member of a different gang. Reyes Ordaz allegedly walked up to the 14 year old boy in the lunch room and hit him, because he'd been talking "expletive" about him.
