Police say a woman was killed early today as she walked along Interstate 80 near Altoona. Police said they went to I-80 and Highway 65 around 3 a.m. where a car hit the woman, who was apparently killed instantly. KCCI reports that police said the woman was in her 30s. The interstate was closed for sometime while police investigated the incident, and the woman was not immediately identified.
