The legal hole's getting deeper for Ladco Development Inc. and owner, Jon Garnaas. Two more lawsuits have been filed for nonpayment of debts. Community State Bank and Baker Mechanical filed suits last month claiming Ladco and its' affiliates defaulted on over $2-million in loans this summer. The Des Moines Register reports Ladco and its partnerships face three foreclosure suits and several other claims for non-payment on outstanding debt.
