Polk County Map Redistricting Part II

Polk County's temporary redistricting commission's approved a new map. It passed along party lines by a 3-2 vote this morning. The new map became necessary when the Secretary of State's Office rejected the last one. The Des Moines Register reports new map still has two GOP commissioners in the same district. Republicans objected to that, saying the map was drawn to favor incumbent democrats. The Commission's expected to vote on the map Thursday.
