No more A's or F's at Waukee Middle School. KCCI says the central Iowa middle school next year switches to status marks: "beginning," "developing," "secure" or "exceeds" the standards set for various subjects. Teachers say it'll give everyone a more-accurate assessment of students' strengths, weaknesses and progress. Some parents think this could leave kids not ready for high school. The school board meets tomorrow night to will discuss the changes.
