Gov. Branstad today unveiled the $50-million in savings found in Iowa’s Road Use Tax Fund, something he demanded before any consideration of a gas tax hike. But The Des Moines Register says he's still opposed to the hike. He did say he wouldn't threaten to veto a hike if the state house and senate both approve one.
