State Pays to Settle ISU Car Crash

The State Appeals Board has agreed to pay $35,000 to settle a lawsuit brought by Nancy Willett. She was hurt in March 2010 when her car was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by an Iowa State University Employee. The crash was on the Highway 65 off ramp near Carlisle. KCCI reports Willett sued for medical bills, lost income and property damage.
