No Support During Drug Testing Bill Hearing

Three bills that would require drug tests for welfare applicants didn't get a lot of support during testimony before a house subcommittee this afternoon. The Des Moines Register reports on social service advocate says he didn't have to pass a drug test to get a homestead tax credit, or a drivers' license, and calls the testing requirement treating people differently just because they're poor.
