Some state reps, including Democrat Helen Miller of Fort Dodge, says the answer to one current issue is to create a special nursing home for elderly sex offenders and other law breakers. Miller's comment over the weekend follows reports of a sex offenders who was accused of sexual contact with another resident of a nursing home in Pomeroy. KCCI reports Gov. Branstad's wants nursing home to tell the families of residents when a sex offender moves in.
