Urbandale’s mayor, city manager and police chief had a chat this week with Jill Mollison and her lawyer. She owns Motel Relax on Hickman Road. The Des Moines Register reports neighborhood protested Saturday about the 500 plus police responses there for everything from deaths to suicides since 2009. Police will be stopping in to check with on duty clerks as well as review calls to the motel on a daily basis to try and cut down public nuisances.
