The Federal Highway Administration's given a green light to a project that'll give West Des Moines and Waukee an interchange with I-80. KCCI reports ramps linking I-80 to Alice's Road/105 Street are part of a 1,700 acre plan for development in the area. A bridge over the interstate's already in place as well as some of the connectors. Next is an environmental impact study, the interchange design, with construction starting this fall and ending by Spring 2013.
