Des Moines school board's accepted Corey Burgess resignation after a closed door meeting. Noone's talking about why Burgess was let go. The Des Moines Register reports an investigation was done after complaints were made against Burgess by teachers at McCombs Middle, where he was principal last year, and a teachers union rep said while the issues weren't student related-they were serious. There's been no info on the results of that investigation.
