Two little kids are with there grandma today, after their mother allegedly tried to kill their father. Police said it happened in Red Oak on Saturday. KCCI reports that police arrested 25 year old Kathi Lehman on attempted murder and child endangerment charges. Police said Lehman stabbed 49 year old Patrick Colebank, who was taken to Creighton University Medical Center. Red Oak police said the couple's children, ages 1 and 2, were inside the apartment at the time.
