Deneese Jones will become Drake University Provost June 1st. The university introduced her today, and she will be in charge of all of Drake's academic programs, library, student activities and other areas. The Des Moines Register reports Jones comes from Longwood University in Virginia, where she's been Dean of the College of Education and Human Services since 2005. Jones replaces Michael Renner, who quit in April.
