Cedar Rapids Civil Service Commission's upheld the police department's firing of a Robyn Obadal from the force. She was terminated after being convicted of a misdemeanor. Obadal, who had 14-years on the job, was convicted of trespassing for letting two dogs out of a locked kennel at a home last summer. Obadal can appeal the decision to district court.
