The National Weather Service says snow is headed this way, but the Des Moines Metro's not expected to be the hardest hit. Forecasts call for snow to start overnight and we could get 1 to 2" here. The heaviest snow will be in the northern and northeastern part of the state where totals could hit 5 to 7". What everyone will get is wind chills which are expected to run from -20-to-30 below. The snow should end tomorrow night.
